$150M mixed-use project eyed for Cool Springs

Charlotte-based Crescent Communities Friday is eyeing a late 2018 start for its $150 million Bigby, a massive mixed-use development long eyed for Cool Springs.

Bigby will include multiple buildings accommodating 350,000 square feet of commercial office and retail space, 330 luxury apartment units, 15 townhomes and a 200-room hotel, according to a release.

The development will be located at the intersection of McEwen Drive and Carothers Parkway in Franklin and includes the existing One and Two Greenway Class A office buildings, as well as high-end apartment communities the Venue Cool Springs and Cadence Cool Springs.

The release notes that Bigby will "blend the best of a vibrant urban environment with the curated and close-knit lifestyle that already makes Franklin one of the most in-demand addresses in the country."
